We rented 4 sites this past weekend an every time we called or messaged we got a different answer, what time is check in an what time is check out? Why is that so hard to answer? Than basically got a rude message saying i could go camp somewhere else if i didnt like it, grass was not mowed, there were waist high weeds at the site line, the smallest fire pits i have ever seen, $25 for like 20 peices of wet wood and you cant bring in your own wood. Should have gotten the hint from the very beginning, the office staff is so unorganized. loud music blaring through the camp ground till midnight, and trying to charge us $8 per tube just to get out of the water at the campground I'm paying to stay at when we have our own tubes an own transportation,(campground around the corner only charges $3) and last but not least people coming around checking wrist bands at 10 pm, yeah if you are out walking around is one thing, but to come on my camp site and check, and than proceed to walk up to my camper and start shining your flash lights inside my camper an demanding the people inside come to the door an show them their wrist band, can we say rude and invasion of privacy? What if someone was changing, or my kids were sleeping? The only. The scenic Rifle puts enjoying nature at your fingertips, while the current carries you along effortlessly.
